About Stonevale Homes

Your Neighborhood Licensed Building Contractor in the Twin Cities

Stonevale Homes is a premium design-build and construction company serving the Twin Cities. We partner with homeowners to design, build and remodel their homes — from additions and sunrooms to decks, kitchens, basements and bathrooms. Our team manages every phase in-house, combining thoughtful design with skilled craftsmanship and clear communication from first concept to final walkthrough. Whether you’re planning an addition, a full renovation or a single standout project, we bring the same detail-driven approach to each one.

Built on Strength. Crafted with Care.

The story

Our team has been building across the Twin Cities since 2022, and that work now continues as Stonevale Homes. We start by listening to what you want, then design it to fit your home, your site and your budget.

That has meant decks and additions, basements and bathrooms, kitchens and driveways, and whole-house remodels — each scoped from a site visit.

How a project runs

Projects run through five stages: a site visit at no charge, a written scope of the work, design and permits, the build itself, and a final walkthrough where any last touch-ups are listed and completed, and the inspection records are handed over.

Pricing models

Projects are priced in one of two ways. Your written scope states which one applies, and we explain why before you sign.

Fixed price: One agreed price for the work in the written scope — for work that can be fully defined before it starts.

Cost-plus: Actual cost of labor and materials plus an agreed margin — for work with unknowns that only show once it is opened up.

How changes are handled

Change order: Any change to the scope or the price is written up as a change order and agreed before the work happens.

Who you deal with

Our crews are experienced tradespeople who work to your plans — the details you asked for, done the way you asked for them, on the parts of a build nobody sees as much as the parts everyone does.

You will have one point of contact from the first site visit through the final walkthrough — the same person who scoped the work.

In-house means the design, the build and the coordination between them sit with one team. What it does not mean is that Stonevale stamps drawings: where a project requires it, we bring in licensed architects and structural engineers we have worked with before. Work that needs to be stamped is designed and sealed before it is submitted.
